  • Emergency First Aid Course for Carers

    In January we held a practical emergency first aid course at our office for some of our carers; this was run for us by First Aid for Life who tailored the course for our specific requirements. It was a great success and we will be holding further training sessions this year.  

  • Compassion Awareness Training

    Throughout January and February all of our Carers are attending a Compassion Awareness course at St Catherine’s Hospice in Crawley. This course will build on the skills and experience our carers already have and is part of our on-going training and development programme for 2016.

  • Our In-House Staff Trainers

    All of our new and existing staff receive comprehensive on-going training to ensure they are developed as individuals and that they meet all required standards for providing excellent care to our clients.   • Moving and Handling training

    In September and October all of our staff attended a refresher Moving and Handling training course held at the Queen Victoria hospital in East Grinstead. This training is completed annually to ensure all of our staff maintain best practice.
