  • In House Training Update

    All carers have recently completed their annual Safe Administration of Medicine and Practical First Aid training.

  • Infection Control Lead

    Paola Bacigalupo has completed her Infection Control training and has now taken on the role of Infection Control Lead. She will be training all staff on Infection Control practices to ensure the continued safety of both clients and staff.

  • Manual Handling Training Update

    Sam Saunders (Registered Manager) and Mandy Hurst (Team Leader) have recently completed their Manual Handling Training and are now able to train all of our carers on site and ensure they maintain the best working practices for our clients whilst meeting required legislation.

  • Medication Administration refresher course

    All of our carers have just completed their annual Medication Administration course. This course is run for us by Kirsty from Tulip Training and is an important part of our carers continuing professional development to ensure they are confident and equipped to meet the needs of our clients.

  • Emergency First Aid Course for Carers

    In January we held a practical emergency first aid course at our office for some of our carers; this was run for us by First Aid for Life who tailored the course for our specific requirements. It was a great success and we will be holding further training sessions this year.  

  • Compassion Awareness Training

    Throughout January and February all of our Carers are attending a Compassion Awareness course at St Catherine’s Hospice in Crawley. This course will build on the skills and experience our carers already have and is part of our on-going training and development programme for 2016.

  • Our In-House Staff Trainers

    All of our new and existing staff receive comprehensive on-going training to ensure they are developed as individuals and that they meet all required standards for providing excellent care to our clients.
