Questions About Caring
Are you looking for a job which makes a difference?
Not considered caring before? Interested, but have questions about being a carer?
Here are a few questions about being a carer we are regularly asked by prospective carers. If you have other questions not answered here, please contact us on 01342 311999 and you can chat through the role with a member of our team.
Alternatively why not visit 39 East Court, College Lane, East Grinstead, West Sussex, RH19 3LT where you can speak to our recruitment team and also members of our existing care staff.
Q. How confident can I be that I’ll be given work for all or most of my “available” hours?
Very confident; most of our staff end up working all their available hours – and sometimes more if they want to.
Q. I’d like to talk to someone who already works for Brooker Care before I decide whether to join the company; can I do this?
Absolutely; just call our office and our team will put you in touch with a couple of our care staff – one who has been with us for a while and one who has joined us more recently.
Q. Do I have to work weekends and, if so, how often?
We do expect all our staff to work alternate weekends.
